Update- trees were wrapped fall 2021- just unwrapped 3/22- trees look great- owner was responsive and employess did a great job unwrapping! Buying another palm from Island Palm so happy with the company! Thanks all! Update summer 2022- 1 7 ft Windmill palm failed due to fungus. Company stood behind promise to replace if did not survive wrapping- 8 ft Windmill planted promptly. Would not hesitate to purchase from Island Palm again!

I bought 2 sago palms and once I got home I did research to care for them and realized they are poisonous to dogs. The owner stood behind his product and gave me a full cash refund, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I will definitely be back for more palm trees.

(March 3, 2016, 4:45 pm)The staff at Island Wide was helpful and the service was great. At the site, they encouraged me to select the windmill palm of my choice. Their inventory contained beautiful, robust palms. I purchased a windmill palm and planted it in the summer of 2015. It looked great; my friends were jealous. After unwrapping it at the end of February 2016, it looked healthy and vigorous.
Kevin contacted me before the winter to ask if I was satisfied with the palm and offered to cover it for the winter for a reasonable fee. Although I selected to wrap the palm myself, I feel relieved that I have that option in the future. Kevin also called me in early March to check on the health of the palm and find out how it handled the winter. It's a really nice feeling to know that they care so much about their customers' satisfaction. There is no question that I will purchase other products from Island Wide Palm Trees in the future.

(March 21, 2014, 8:49 pm)As a returning customer, I bought my first windmill palm last summer from Island Wide, and planted it in my back yard ,north shore, Suffolk County. My windmill palm, (5 feet tall) survived the polar vortex of 2013-2014 with a little help from Christmas lights and temp wraps. Today (mar-21-2014), the palm tree looks great!
Kudos to island wide palm trees for recommending this very cold hardy windmill palm.
It brings new meaning to island living.
