  I can't say enough about the way this medical office handles their patients. Staff was accommodating right from the beginning with my appointment due to my working schedule. I felt extremely comfortable and feel confident that I am in good hands moving forward.

  I’ve had one visit so far with Matthew Killian, NP at this office. He was very nice, thorough, did not try to push m into any treatment or medication. He took a full comprehensive interview, and I have never had that with other providers. They don’t take insurance, however, they were happy to send my bill to my insurance company for me. I will definitely be going back to him.

  I am very delighted to be writing this review. Overall, the practice is extremely organized and professional. As a person seeking therapy and medication for the first time I was immediately met with compassion and patience. My therapist, Jackie, has truly helped me alter behaviors that I have been struggling with for years via healthy coping strategies. Furthermore, her attentiveness and compassion make me feel heard and understood for the first time in my life. Jackie is a phenomenal provider who genuinely wants the best for her patients; her expertise and kindness have enabled me to grow and learn more about myself than I thought I could. I have been provided such valuable information and input from both Jackie and Dr. Solomon. Dr. Solomon ensures that as the patient I come first. Dr. Solomon openly accepts questions that are gladly met with in depth, understandable answers. The valuable skill sets that Jackie has provided me is met wonderfully with the guidance from Dr. Solomon. You can tell there is an excellent, dynamic team-based approach to providing quality care to each patient. Furthermore, the front desk staff are beyond respectful and welcoming. They always patiently answer my phone calls in a timely manner despite the influx of calls the office receives. I genuinely feel this practice has helped improve my quality of life drastically. I hope anyone who feels lost and wants to find stability within themselves chooses Island Psychiatry. Thank you and good luck to all :)

  I cannot say enough positive things about Island Psychiatry. I have been a patient of Dr. Solomon's for 15 years and have recently been seeing Alexandra Paul as well. The practice is very caring. I work in NYC and they have been great with working around my odd schedule. I have found that attending my sessions has helped me greatly with the issues I have been experiencing, and I have recommended them to others as well. I feel that they really care and cannot recommend them enough!

  I have been a patient of Dr. Solomon for 18 years, my mother as well. I have always gotten the best care from him. Without details, he has been able to treat me and has always made himself available for emergencies. Yes, he does not take insurance but you would be hard pressed to find a doctor as outstanding as Dr. Solomon.
