  I’ve been going to island dental for 10+ years. Never had a bad experience. All staff are absolutely terrific. I’ve seen Dr. Blum & Dr. Molinari for years. Recently I’ve been seen Dr. Dowse and Lisa for an emergency root canal that was beyond painful. Both could not be more professional, respectful and caring. I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit this practice because you will always leave happy.

  Dr. Dowes treated my wife for shoddy work done by Smilist Dental in Syosset. He was caring and more than professional who also referred her to an Endodontist. Treatment was done and my wife is no longer in pain. Island Dental will be our dentists for all future visits

  Dr Howard has quickly become my favorite dentist I’ve ever had ! I have had a decent amount of work done lately and his friendly & caring personality make me not mind going to the dentist. He has had consistent night time hours available for me, and he has been patient and honest with his recommendations. I can tell he has my best interest in mind rather than the bill.

  My existing crown just completely fell out whole post and all. So my wife said go see my dentist. So I went to Island dental group distressed needless to say I met dr. Dowse and his partner Lisa. OH MY GOD!! What a team he talked me thru the whole process as he worked and Lisa was just fabulous keeping me comfortable. I’m 57 years old and I’ve been to countless dentists in my life. I’ve always associated them with pain today was the first time I didn’t experience any not even the shot to the gums. 😁. Totally professional and friendly as well plus the work is exceptional. Thanks dr. Dowse and Lisa at Island 🏝️ medical group. Me my wife and daughter are your for as long as you’ll have us. Totally grateful.

  I have been coming to this top notch dental practice for 25+ years now. Dr. Hershenhorn, Lydia, and staff are a wonderful team. During this entire time, Lydia especially, has treated me with such professionalism, kindness, understanding, and patience as I am certainly not the easiest patient to deal with. She is extremely skilled, confident, knowledgeable, patient friendly and always has my best dental health and hygiene in mind. She is literally the only hygienist I will allow to treat me. She’s special and her perpetual smile is always very reassuring to me. I recommend her highly.
