I knew what I wanted but am not a great artist and Doug was extremely patient and worked on the design until I was happy with it. This tattoo is exactly what I wanted, and the fine line work and shading are beyond what I was hoping for. Doug was professional, patient, artistic, and made the entire experience extremely positive. I 100% recommend Iron Eel!

(May 4, 2019, 4:15 pm)This is the only place I go to get tattoos now. Doug is phenomenal and very artistic and to top all that off extremely personable. The shop is clean and comfortable. He has alot of his own artwork up which is really cool as well. He has a very special talent and I never mind driving a hour out of my way to get work I am always proud of. I promise if you go here you will Never regret its.

He has done many of my large and small pieces and i will continue to go back to him for all of my work in the future. His new shop is amazing and he’s a very outgoing guy. 10/10 would recommend!

(August 15, 2017, 3:24 pm)Doug did a wonderful job on a highly detailed, shaded tattoo for me. He worked with me to sketch out an idea and tweak the size and location, and then executed it flawlessly! The shop is lovely and Doug is super friendly - he really makes it a fun experience!

(January 9, 2016, 10:41 pm)The tattoo Doug did was fully custom and was an inside joke reminder of my daughter... It took 33 years to find something important enough to convince me to get any work done, I absolutely could not be happier with the job he did.
It you want a good atmoshpere, a great artist and perfect work Doug is the man you want to see. He truly has a gift and it was a privilege to work with him.
