We decided super last minute to hire Angelina, and the was the BOMB. Truly stepped up to the plate for our first baby and my husband being out of his depth during labor. She did hip compressions on just about every contraction for HOURS and never said a word. Would highly recommend these ladies. They are professional and super easy to work with.
We are so grateful and happy to have had Melissa as our doula! She was very helpful during the pregnancy in helping us figure out our preferences for the labor and birth process. During labor in the hospital, she helped with comfort measures, positions and techniques to progress labor, and expertise that helped us with decision-making during the labor process. She also coached me in trying different positions while pushing, which turned out to be very helpful! As a bonus, she also captured photos as our baby arrived and the moments immediately afterward. She also supported us post-delivery, which was very much appreciated.
When I learned an unmedicated birth was my only option besides having a c-section under general anesthesia (due to a former spinal surgery), I was willing to try everything in my power to succeed at the birth I wanted - unmedicated, uninterrupted, as peaceful as possible and most importantly, fully present for the birth of my first daughter. With Keli’s help, we achieved just that. Keli was instrumental in educating my husband and I on all things birth as well as easing our minds as we waited for our baby’s arrival. She answered every text and responded to any concern I had as a first time mom and always in a timely manner. During labor, Keli was right there to advocate for me and help keep me comfortable during uncomfortable moments. I was so grateful to have Keli in my corner and my husband was happy to have someone guide him through the whole process while the midwives at LifeCycle WomanCare were making sure baby arrived safely. Keli was also sure to grab our phones, take pictures and capture some of my most cherished memories while we soaked in our newborn! I would absolutely hire Keli again if we decide to have another!
Keli was our doula for the birth of our second child. He was a VBAC birth due to my first pregnancy being breech. She knew how important it was to me to experience a natural birth and not be pressured into a second c section. I wanted to labor for as long as I could at home and she was instrumental in making that possible. We had an hour drive to our hospital and she was able to give us the confidence we needed to know when to leave for the hospital in order to maximize our time at home. She was a calming presence throughout the birthing process and supported both me and my husband beautifully. I would highly recommend having Keli as birthing support. She gave us both confidence and peace that is not easily obtained from doctors when pursuing a VBAC. My 8 lb. 8 oz. baby was birthed intervention and epidural free with no drama or fear!
My VBAC journey with Keli as my doula was everything I wished for and more. Keli supports women with so much heart. She is so knowledgeable and supports mamas to be with such empathy and love. Her calm loving energy is reassuring when you most need it. Keli guided me though my most amazing unmedicated VBAC birth experience. I’m so lucky to have had her as my doula. I always say - I want to have another baby just so I could birth with Keli again.
