  Been there for public skating. I arrived with two small kids carrying big bag with skates and helmets. Storage available is small, and with two kiddos eager to go skating, I was not happy. (Note for the future - avoid additional things. Lockers are just for shoes basically.) Staff behind counter did not know how to help me, but someone from the management just took my bag and told me to pick it up on the way back - THANK YOU MISTER!!! Note: I was not going "Karen" on the staff, just frustrated with the situation + two kiddos eager to skate.
  The superstar manager (i assume) could read the moment correctly and saved the day to a great skating experience as my girls had a blast. Thank you again!
  
  The rink was crowded, but that was expected on weekend public skating. Everybody had fun with no issues.
  
  Compared to the public skating in Poughkeepsie, a soft surface on the floor is only around the boards, not in the stands - not accesible for skates without guards.
  Also, lights are dimmed for more of a party experience. I prefer full light conditions, but my girls loved it :) So, pick your option.

  My kids had a blast, I haven't been ice skating in years but since they loved it so much we will be going more often!

  My children enjoyed their time there. The staff were nice and the music was good. We went for Friday night skate party. I’m giving this place 5 stars because the owner/manager was very nice. Sure the line was long and the service was a bit slow but there’s a national labor shortage so he was working the line while directing the staff to get people in. Overall, there could be some improvements made but you do what you can with what you got and they did.

  I had a great time skating at a public section. I didn't enjoy my mask being wet from my breathing, but I would bring a couple extra next time. I was good to skate anyway! Highly recommend going.
