Man these guys know their stuff. I should have call them before the repair tech came to my house. After a 5 minute phone call order and 3 days later I had the part I needed for my fireplace and was back up and running. I like how the tech I spoke to really knew about the parts I needed. Hope I don't need more parts, but will use them again...
I recently purchased an ODS assembly for my vent free fireplace gas logs. After installation of the assembly, the pilot light would light, but the main burner would not. I tested the thermopile on the ODS assembly and determined it was not generating sufficient voltage to the control valve assembly (electrical output was 51 mv which was below the minimum 325 mv required). I notified iBuy Stores of the defective thermopile and requested they provide me a replacement thermopile. Without questioning my competency in this matter they agreed and sent me a replacement thermopile. As I informed Mario with iBuy, "sometimes problems like this occur, but how they are handled by the seller can be more important than other factors associated with transaction. 5 stars!
Could not be more pleased with my transaction. I was able to purchase a difficult to find pilot assembly for an older Vermont Castings fireplace at a very fair price. My error in ordering a part with a 1 digit mistake was professionally handled as a return/exchange for the correct part. I installed the right part and now heating unit works great.
As drop shippers go, iBuy has been one of the best. I ordered a very hard-to-find part for my Superior ventless firebox, for much less than MSRP. I expected that it would take probably weeks to get it... It did not. Surprisingly, I received the part from the distribution center in only TWO DAYS. Confirmed that this is a correct OEM part, and it installed perfectly. So what else can I say? Nobody else was listing this part for sale anymore, it was well under MSRP and it got to me at Amazon Prime speed.
