  I brought my car into Hyundai for oil change and recall servicing and also for a problem with the front end steering, and brakes. George wrote up the work order and kept me informed throughout the day of progress. The car wasn't ready when I got there later in the day to pick it up because they found a leaking oil pan. He and the mechanic stayed after hours and fixed everything and got my car back to me the same day. They did a great job. Thank you .

  I give Hyundai City of Bay Ridge Service an A+ for service.
  
  A few weeks ago our Hyundai got a hole in the bumper when we drove over a small metal pipe. We had to replace a single part.
  
  It's not so hard to look up the cost of a Hyundai part. So we knew the cost going in to the shop. We called 4 Hyundai repair shops. Bay Ridge was the only shop that gave us the true cost. And Bay Ridge was the only shop that gave us an honest estimate of the repair time, 1 hour.
  
  All other shops gave estimates over 4 hours.
  
  Bay Ridge gave us a reasonable estimate. They stuck to their estimate when we showed up in person. They showed me how they did the repair.
  
  I was very impressed. I will return to Bay Ridge for all my future repairs.

  These guys are the best ever. The most honest car repair guys I have ever dealt with. We had to replace the skid plate of our Hyundai Santa Fe. First of all we did enough research to find the part and its price. They quoted the right price and quoted the right service time (1hr) for the replacement of the part and even told us the hourly rate for the service. Mario and Denis are awesome. They are professionals and are honest. When we took our car in, they honored their quote and took an hour to replace it.
  We also inquired with Plaza Body Shop. They were awful. Quoted a price for the part that was way off and the service time they quoted was 3 hrs!!! They told us something over the phone and then when we went there in person, they kept stressing how complicated the whole job was and kept hiking the price to thousands!! Don't even go to Plaza Body shop. We will never go there for any future repairs, now that we know The Hyundai City of Bay Ridge Service is THE BEST.

  In 16+ years of owning old and new car this was actually my first trip to a service garage rather than for oil change) first the phone operator was very accommodating finding a spot for me within a week after she learnt i was going to check on breaks. the service agent at the service place i believe his name is Mario was very accommodating and explained what diagnostics was done and what to look at. the car was ready/ checked within one day. as some reviews say, it's a bit hard to get a hold of them, i did not get a call from them when the car was ready and had to call myself in the afternoon. i called the main number a few times and was kicked between some extensions and dropped but in my second attempt i was told the car was ready. the place has a comfy customer lounge and it's a new clean shop. staff seem very nice.
