Hunter View Lodging

Absolutely excellent location. 5 mins drive from Hunter Mt and close to town and restaurants. Situated on a sweet little river which was frozen over while we were there - so pretty! Rooms are basic but perfectly clean and warm.

Great place to stay, was in the area for a wedding and the accommodation was perfect. Basic but still have everything you need and in a beautiful setting. The owners were extremely friendly and courteous. If I was ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again

The owners are very helpful and friendly. The scenery was beautiful, as was the star gazing. The rooms were basic but had what we needed. We were out hiking and site seeing most of the time and just needed a place to crash. They had a great little creek behind the rooms, with a swimming hole. It was great! I didnt have water shoes and the owner lent me hers. They gave us some delicious tomatoes from their garden too! Like I said, super nice people and we would come back!

Very basic rooms but the location is amazing. The couple that owned the place was friendly and offered recommendations for local hikes and other attractions. There were grills and picnic tables in the patio as well as a private swimming hole in the Schoharie Creek with views of Hunter Mountain. Would definitely stay here again.

Super affordable place to stay. It has a nice area in the back with picnic tables and woodsy views. The rooms are simplistic and clean. My only grievance is that I booked a room with a queen-sized bed, but got one with a full.
