I love this town.
There are multiple large capacity parking lots near trail heads on the top of the mountain. Please park here to avoid getting towed, ticketed, or causing dangerous traffic conditions coming up the mountain road. That is a main highway in and out of town, it is not just for recreation or the view. Our emergency vehicles, deliveries, and residents use this road on a daily basis. This is why it is so important to keep it clear. If you park where no parking signs are posted you cannot be surprised to be ticketed or towed. This is a real community, and while we are happy that so many of you enjoy your stay, please remember this. Our businesses and facilities have no problem thriving while we all respect our town. As a resident of this town, I ask you nicely to please respect our home and keep it safe for all of us, including yourselves.
