  They do a fantastic job of alterations and cleaning,especially specialty items. They are friendly,courteous, and deliver ontime. They're the best!!

  I got my wedding dress hemmed here and the seamstress did a fantastic job! My dress has a pretty long train and several layers, so there is lots of fabric, but it was done within 2 weeks. I ended up having a few of my bridesmaids get their dresses altered here too and you can't even tell that they were taken in, they look like we just bought them that way.
  The price was very decent and I love that when I come here I know I am supporting a locally owned small business.

  What Hudson View did with my wedding dress is a miracle. I brought my wedding dress there 4 weeks after my wedding… by then the dirt and mud stains on the bottom had completely dried. I had also taken someone’s advice and tried to clean my dress myself; instead of cleaning it, I made the stain travel up the back of my dress! After that, Hudson View was recommended to me by someone I trust. I didn’t know what to expect because I knew the material was delicate and I damaged my dress by waiting too long and trying to clean it myself. Well I just picked it up and I was SHOCKED!! The deep, dark mud stains are gone, the stain that traveled up the back is gone, and it somehow looks better than the day I wore it!! It looks brand new! These photos really don’t do it justice- the stain was much worse in person, and my dress looks amazing now!!

  Really exceeded expectations. Brought in 2 dresses for alterations. The woman let me try them on there so she could see exactly where to pin them and what needed to be done. Took out the pockets for me as well. Was told they’d be ready Saturday, which was fine until the next day when I realized I’d like one of them for a dinner on Friday. I called the next day and they were already done! They both look great and you’d never be able to tell that they weren’t bought the way that they look right now. Kind people, fast and quality service. So glad I found them.

  Let me make a disclaimer. This review will be highly biased because the owners of this business are my parents. However, I think I have a unique insight because of this fact, so please hear me out. My parents have been in the dry cleaning business for nearly 30 years. Over the years, they've seen it all--clothing wise. How do I know? Because they talked about the store every night at our dinner table. Of course we had our usual family talk, but I had a chance to hear about the hundreds and hundreds of ways that clothes are cleaned. Some factors that go into cleaning stains include obvious factors like the material of the clothing, cause of the stain, how old the stain is, the different color patterns in the clothing, manufacturing tendencies of different clothing makers, along with some factors that are not so obvious like......... well, I can't spill the family secrets!
  
  My parents also care deeply about their customers. I've spent many Sundays driving with my parents deep into NYC to find just the right fabric for a piece of clothing that my mother was tailoring. Other times we would drive in so that my father could find that special product that was needed to remove a particularly exotic stain. Customers appreciate this high level service and I've seen many pleased customers since I was in elementary school (I'm a PhD student now).
  
  My parents also care about their workers. They receive higher wages than other dry cleaners in the area and employees are treated almost like family. In the dry cleaning industry, the turn over of employees is high, very high. However, several of the store's employees have worked with my parents for decades. I think it's a testament to how well they are treated. Although the employees receive higher wages, my parents are able to keep the price of cleaning low for customers because of the high volume of clothing that they clean.
  
  No they aren't perfect. Thousands of pieces of clothing go through the store every day, so mistakes inevitably happen. However, if you look at the big picture, you'll get consistently high-quality service for very reasonable prices.
