(December 8, 2022, 3:36 am)Visited this museum in early January and it was great! They had a number of excellent exhibits, all of which were of decent size and quite interesting. They have directional markers set up and capacity is limited but it was done in a way to make you feel comfortable and still welcome. I was also lucky enough to get a spot on one of their Glenview Mansion tours which are limited to 6 people to ensure social distancing. The tour is limited to 6 rooms on the ground floor but during the holidays the rooms are all beautifully decorated and the guide was extremely informative. It is very accessible from the city as walking distance from the Metro North Glenwood station. I highly recommend this museum with attached historic home.

(August 8, 2022, 11:36 am)Did not visit the museum itself, but the amphitheater for their concert series. They are GREAT. Whether classical music in cartoons or Tango, it is a very fast paced, entertaining presentation. Will continue to go.

(August 8, 2022, 7:38 am)What a perfect little gem. I was very surprised to not see this museum more crowded. But nonetheless enjoyed the solitude it provided. The art pieces are a mix of old (such as a Matisse rug and a Andy Warhol piece) and very new artists. And they showcased a lot of LGBTQI+ artists. The structure itself is very modern with a cement staircase running in the middle.
There were also showcases of historical local astronomers/public figures such as Lewis Morris Rutherfurd and Maria Mitchell. My Favorite exhibition was the Mendoza bookstore.
Thoroughly enjoyed the museum.
There’s also an option to purchase a tour of the glenview mansion. Which deserves a review on its own right. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was great to spend time learning and viewing the beauty of life in the Hudson valley -

(April 2, 2022, 5:32 pm)An amazing experience!! A Yonkers hidden gem. Currently featuring the exhibition "The World Of Frida". Accessible by car, bus and train. Located in the Trevor Park and Playground area. Parking is free and on site. Family friendly. I will definitely do it again.

(March 26, 2022, 9:25 pm)This little museum packs a big aesthetic punch! My friend and I came for the spring Frida Kahlo exhibit and it did NOT disappoint. Though I don’t think there was much of her own art, there were tons of unique and special pieces all inspired by the great artist. We particularly loved how creatively the exhibit was displayed, and our favorite thing was the vibrant and uplifting interactive art display right in the entrance where guests could share positive thoughts.
