  Dr. Zhu has been treating my family for several years now. I feel Dr. Zhu is very intelligent and knows her field very well. She is always pleasant and has a smile when greeting you. But above all, she is an intelligent doctor and I feel she has the best interest in my health.

  After 60+ years of previous dental care, I was lucky and very grateful to find Hunterdon Family Dental Care. Dr. Zhu is an extraordinary professional in every way. A knowledgeable and experienced Professor, she also possesses great technical skill. She approaches each situation conservatively, seeking to do the least amount of "work" or disruption, while still fixing the problem effectively and in a cost-effective way. Dr. Zhu has created a warm and welcoming environment that puts patients at ease, and her protocol during Covid is outstanding. Her entire staff (from assistants and hygenists to the receptionship) reflects her own high standard of excellence and relates to patients with warmth, caring, competency, and efficiency. The other dentist at Hunterdon Family is also outstanding. Dr. Simms is experienced, quick, and competent and is brilliant at explaining what she is doing when she is doing it. Five stars are not enough for either Dr. Zhu or Dr. Simms.

  It would be difficult to find a better dentist than Dr. Zhu!
  
  She has it all - technical skill, amazing knowledge of dentistry, integrity, kindness, and up tp date technology (same day crown replacement design - no more taking those "cement" impressions and no more waiting two weeks for the crown to be made. It is done by computer, on site).
  
  Her philosophy is to preserve the tooth and only do a filling/crown if it is truly needed. Unlike Dr. Zhu, other dentists may tell you you need unnecessary work, possibly so they can increase their income. She even gave me instructions on preventing a beginning cavity to progress further, and detailed information on preventing future tooth loss (I have more bone loss than expected for my age).
  
  Her staff are also competent and kind.

  Dr. Zhu was so caring and compassionate--she took me as a new patient with dental pain when my regular dentist was not available. She did an excellent job saving my tooth and avoiding root canal--even though she can do root canals too! She can do so many things including wisdom tooth extraction and periodontics surgery. I am pretty amazed! She is truly a master of dental profession!

  A friend who is a dental hygienist and who has worked with a number of dentists, immediately recommended Dr. Zhu to me when I requested her help. She said that Dr. Zhu does "beautiful work." Indeed she has with two rather difficult fillings on molars that had broken off. Highly recommended.
