  I wish the beach was bigger, otherwise great place to spend family time, kids play on send or playground. While I take my jetski. Best part you can take shower 😉

  I had a wonderful time at Hopatcong State Park, NJ. It is a very beautiful place with a fresh lake water that is perfect for swimming. The park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday, and it closes at 8:00 p.m.
  
  You have to be careful not to swim on Monday and Tuesday, because there are no lifeguards on duty.
  
  The park offers many activities, such as rowing, canoeing, fishing, and hiking. The scenery is breathtaking, especially at sunset.
  
  I would highly recommend this park to anyone who loves nature and water sports. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the summer.

  Nice quiet park, went here from Mother's Day with my family and had a picnic. Is my nose places that you can go with Grandma and pop and just chill on the grass and relaxes your kids play. Don't have to worry about anybody coming to hassle or bordering. There's even areas for you to barbecue. It's a large space. You probably can go down there and have a little kid's birthday party or celebrate a baby shower etc. It's really amazing being here and it's so beautiful to see the water. The view is amazing and the place is clean. The bathrooms are open and clean and they have tables and benches also.

  Great view of the lake with a playground for the kids right in front of the lake. Do come early as they close once the parking lot reaches capacity. They have BBQ pits for you to sit and barbecue along with tables with benches which you can use

  Great park, beautiful lake view,  natural trails,  a lot of parking spots, and free to visit (by the way, on Memorial weekend, it was free and swimming season hadn't started).
  
  Just one problem: it can be very crowded.
