  This was my first time at Hook n Reel and I was very pleased with the service. ALL of the staff even though they were not our assigned servers greeted us when they passed us, made us laugh, and followed up to make sure we were satisfied with our meal and if we needed anything. The manger did as well. They sang happy bday to my friend and brought her cheesecake. The server Sapphire 8 ( I forgot her name) kindly split the bill between us 4 and gave us separate checks. I ordered the shrimp seafood boil a half a pound and did not get full, I should have ordered a pound, then I ordered the crab meat fries. I forgot to take a picture of the fries, but they were delicious. The seafood boil tasted great in garlic butter. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others as the service was excellent, and it is very evident their goal is to satisfy their customers. Every single staff member was kind and the prices are reasonable. We went on a Tuesday evening during happy hour and the waitress reminded us 5 min before HH ended if we wanted another drink to order one/ Margaritas are $5 FYI during HH.

  This is a great place to go for happy hour drinks and great atmosphere with friendly service. Tramaine was the best bartender and helped us celebrate National Cocktail day with style! Stop by and enjoy yourself alone or with friends!
  
  Update: I also took the 3 for $33 as a carry out. I ordered the snow crab cluster, 1 lb. crawfish and 1 lb. shrimp with Cajun seasoning and the level was fire. It was fiyah! I'm from Louisiana and I approve wholeheartedly. Recommend.

  Had not been to Hook & Reel in quite a while. Decided to bring a friend who had never been. My friend and I had a great time. The food and drinks were good. Although the place lacked people, perhaps because it was very early in the evening - happy hour, we managed to enjoy ourselves.

  First time having seafood broil, it was delish! Coated Chicken wings were so good and juicy as well. Our server Christopher was excellent and very attentive. Manager checked a couple of times, food came out very fast. Defiantly coming back for some more seafood.

  I dined in today after a few months of giving it a break. The server was nice, however, my sweet potato fries were not hot but I didn’t bother to send them back because I knew I wouldn’t eat many of them. The fried shrimp were fried well and they were nice and hot -just like I like them.
  
  I must say though I wish Danielle would return - she made the best mango mai-tai. The last time I was there I gave the newer manager a chance🤦🏾‍♀️- the drink didn’t look nothing like a mai tai and he had the nerve to tell me it’s because they mix the dark room inside clearly he had no clue about the connection of sight before taste. Nonetheless I tried it last time I was there and let’s just say I did not order one today nor will I ever order one in the future.
  
  Had Danielle been there I would’ve ordered three.🤣 She made them properly- visually appealing- it looked like a mai-tai and it tasted like one.
  
  I really miss the mango mai- tai that was on the menu. It is not the same as a mango fizzle! I enjoyed a water with lemon today.🤷🏽‍♀️
