  We were in town for the Borscht Belt Festival and stayed at Honors Haven, the former Fallsview Hotel. We were not sure what to expect but we were happily pleased.
  
  The hotel was immaculately clean with a crisp modern decor. The pools were sparklingly wonderful and the grounds were beautifully manicured. The staff were all friendly and our room had nicely updated furniture.
  
  Another thing that we liked was that although the resort is family friendly with many activities to enjoy (we were even invited to a campfire on our last night), there are certain areas like the gym and the jacuzzi that are reserved for adults being "18 and Over Only".
  
  We enjoyed Honors Haven so much that the only reason we are not rating the property as a "5" is because we wish the bar and lounge were open for guest and the hot water in the bathrooms didn't work, never getting above tolerably warm.
  
  Otherwise, we really enjoyed having the "Catskill Resort experience". We really wish this property success and are definitely planning on coming back just for the sake of coming to the resort soon!

  I spent 3 days at the most lovely retreat in the Hudson Valley!
  As a writer and educational consultant, I needed to get away.
  I was able to rest, read and write to my heart's delight at Honors Haven. It was private enough for me to enjoy much of it in solitude. Yet the staff was always there if I needed them. This was important as I often travel solo. I especially enjoyed my dinner every night, even the views from the dining hall are stunning! Thanks to all the staff there who made my stay cozy and sweet!

  A beautiful but dated place.
  
  Nice rooms and an impressive breakfast service.
  
  The landscape and property is stunning; to wake up and see the sunrise over the mountains is a real treat.
  
  The inside just felt a bit dated, as if I time traveled back to the my family’s retreats of the 90s

Ever since the Nevele went under, looks like Honors Haven has become the new luxe resort/spa for the Catskill set. It's fairly easy to find, and has nice, spacious grounds. However, the decor can best be described as dyslexically tacky!
