  I would like to thank everyone from the nursing staff on the 4th floor as well as the rehab team. Everyone has done an excellent job just as I predicted from last time I was there. Everyone should be proud of themselves for this because you are short staffed and you still come to work and take care of your patients to best of your ability. Thanks again for doing such a nice job taking care of me.

  Thank you Robin, Maryanne, Kathy, Laura, Dana, Laurie, and everyone on the 4th fl for your amazing and incredible care of my father Fred C. He arrived after foot surgery and sepsis and osteomyelitis, and needed 6 weeks of IV medication, plus many other services. Outstanding wound care by Robin, outstanding therapy by Kathy and all PT, OT, and speech therapy staff. Fred is a diabetic, with many medical issues, and was treated with incredible care and compassion. I phone him everyday, and he feels secure and he likes the food and care. Fred has been here for 3 months, and his foot has healed, it was serious surgery on the foot. Thank you Mary Ellen, Saba, Desiree and Gina for helping us during this transition for Fred, you are so nice to work with, and are amazing. All the best, the Family of Fred C

  Never did I think I would need this level of care. Life can have a way of delivering unexpected surprises. My surprise brought me to Grandview Subacute Center at the Homestead after being in a couple different acute care facilities for several months. I needed a lot of care and a lot of rehabilitation. I got what I needed right here, in Sussex County. The private rooms and private bathrooms were a blessing to me. I needed the privacy to process what happened to me and what the future held for me. I found the most encouraging people here. The Physical and Occupational Therapists were wonderful. They brought me a long way. They gave me hope! They worked so well together and helped each other to achieve positive outcomes for every patient they saw. I loved working with them, in my room or in the rehab gym.
  The aids brought me comfort. They were ready and willing to do for me whatever I needed. It is a special person that dedicates their life to care for another who can’t care for themselves, and do it with a smile. Jesus said, “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers that you do unto me.” - Matthew 25:40
  That is the kind of place Grandview at the Homestead is.

  The Homestead Rehab and Health Care Facility is one of the best. I have visited daily for almost three years. My husband has been a resident in need of full time care. He is cared for by nurses and staff. I am so thankful for their companionate care. Needless to say I have also made new friends there as well. Kudos to The Homestead 💕

  Dedicated and hard working staff, make the beautiful views and private room with private bathroom/shower rehabilitation unit an even more pleasant experience. Excellent place for long term care also, with staff that want to get to know you and provide your specific needs, interests, and preferences. This would always be my first choice for rehab or healthcare in Sussex County for myself or my loved ones.
