  The first caregiver I had we did not click. Definitely, when Betzy came things were very different. We click on the very first day. From there on We get alone great! Meals are great! And all my needs are meat. The house is spotless. When we have time we play games like scrabble, dominoes and sometimes checkers to take up our afternoon.   I was so pleased with the professionalism and kindness I experienced when I called Home Instead to provide care for my mother after her discharge from the hospital. From the person who answered the phone, the owner who came out for a consultation and the Caregiver who provided the services, everyone was friendly, helpful and supportive. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone needing assistance.

  This is the second time I am using Home Instead for a Live in care giver for a close family friend / private patient that I manger their care. Both times I have been so happy. This most recent time, let's just say my friend is a little more "prickly" . I was not sure it would work at home. Right from the first call I felt good about calling home instead. Asked about the patient, how would we handle certain situations etc. I had also put out a call to another agency; right away they, Agency B, listed all the things they can not do, and the barriers to finding a live in.
  From the moment the Aide met my friend it worked. The aide was experienced with pureed foo, provides the personal care and keeps the home above expectations. The agency is quick to respond to changing needs or add services as necessary, which is also great.

  Home Instead has provided care for my parents for years, first visiting twice day to now full-time live-in care. The caregivers provide excellent care and truly care for my parents and their well-being. The people at the home office are involved and in-touch. Home Instead has not only provided excellent in-home care, they have afforded my whole family peace of mind.
