  We love HM Equestrian + Spore Horse. Heather has created a wonderful environment for her horses. She is so knowledgeable and caring towards her horses. She truly cares about the success of each rider during their training too- My daughter loves getting lessons with Heather. Highly recommend!

  I can’t say enough good things about Heather Metz as a trainer and person. She has been so patient with me while pushing my riding and horsemanship. Her enthusiasm for her career shines through how well her horses are taken care of and how her facility is maintained! In Heather’s roster of well trained lesson horses, there’s always room to grow as there are horses for every level of rider. I’ve been riding at different barns since I was a kid and nothing compares to the top notch training and equines at HME!

  i’ve been riding for 10 years and been at so many different barnes but i love HME. Heather has helped me improve so much in the 3 short months that i have been riding with her. She has a good range of lesson horses to meet every need of a new or experienced rider. i have been so happy in my time here and even more happy with how well i am doing with my riding.

  A dream come true! I've known Heather for seven years. This young lady has a top notch lesson program and my pony Fitz has been with her for three years. Fitz knew the basics when he came to her, but today he took two young ladies to Reserve Champion at HIS and THEIR FIRST SHOW off the farm!!!! I'm very particular about my pony's care as I rescued him from a kill pen and will never allow him to suffer or starve again. I totally trust Heather and Richie with his care. Look at the smiles from his rider and best partner, Carina. Thanks for making our dreams come true!!!

  Heather’s teaching is extremely enthusiastic which I LOVE as an adult amateur with zero confidence in the saddle after having a baby and losing all my nerve. They have helped me through the slow stages of rehabbing a suspensory branch injury with no hiccups and during my horse’s down time, I have found that the two horses I’ve lessoned on have been well educated and well matched to my riding capabilities. The turn out is great (no real mud, tons of grass) and the footing is well maintained. Blankets are changed as needed and my horse always has his turn out boots on, shoes checked, etc. The staff is all very friendly, even the stall cleaners. I travel extensively for work and do not worry about my horse’s welfare in the slightest which is a feeling that, as a boarder, I’ve struggled with at past facilities. Highly recommend!
