(May 28, 2023, 4:54 pm)This went very well for a big project. Henry was clear on what was to be done and on the price, which was very competitive. They showed up right on time. I was especially impressed he took pics from up on the roof to keep me up to date on progress, and they did a spectacular job cleaning up afterwards. Very friendly, professional and did everything "the right way", not cutting corners. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Henry and his crew were exceptional. The contract called for a complete roof installation, including the laying of plywood for an historical home in Montville New Jersey. We are so pleased we used HM contracting! They not only did what was expected, but brought to our attention carpentry needs that had to be addressed, then immediately requisitioned all of the specialty wood, trim and boards that had to be replaced on the roof eaves, overhangs, and dormers. The worksite was extremely neat at all times, and all the debris was picked up every night. They used copper flashing around the old chimneys, and made it look like a work of art. What a job! Professional, reliable, expert job, and at an extremely reasonable price!! Would recommend to anyone. -

(July 6, 2022, 9:05 pm)HM Contracting did a phenomenal job for us. They completed the replacement of our roof on schedule and without any issues. Our house has a low-slope area that required attention, and HM delivered the detailed work that we needed.
We decided to work with HM after leveling five different contractors in the area and we checked off the boxes on all our priorities: Experience, price, references, and customer service.
During our pre-contract phase, Henry was always available to respond to our questions. He was very clear on the scope and the construction methods he uses. When it came to references, he was open to providing an address so I could see the crew at work.
Although we had to wait a few weeks for our turn after the contract was signed (something that Henry was completely transparent about before committing to a date), the material was delivered on time and the work started on schedule.
During construction, Henry documented everything and sent us updates with pictures of the work as it progressed.
It was a pleasure dealing with Henry. I highly recommend HM Contracting. -

(October 22, 2021, 9:01 am)I highly recommend this company, they're experienced, professional, and you simply cannot beat their prices. They replaced a metal roof on our large 50x60' garage in only 2.5 days, including adding 100 sheets of plywood, shingles and a lot of wood. They did a great job cleaning up. Henry beat estimates that I received by several other contractors literally by thousands!

(July 12, 2019, 2:02 pm)After 25 years, I had to replace my house roof. I was blessed to find HM Contracting to do it. Henry and his team are great. They work very hard and very smart. They are punctual,friendly and respectful. They take great care to keep the area clean and mindful not to damage the house, shrubs, deck, etc. He even added vents on the house and garage roof as well as caulked the dormer windows. This was not in the contract and did it at no cost. Henry takes pictures as the work progresses to keep you informed of what is being done. Excellent work at a reasonable price.
