  Wonderful place with outstanding front porch and delicious breakfasts made by Sandy. We enjoyed the proximity to the bike path, Innisfree Gardens and local vineyards.

  My girls and I stayed in the Washington Room. Sandy was so welcoming from the minute we arrived. The inn was cozy and charming. I loved our stay!

  Sandy runs a meticulously clean and charming establishment and she goes the extra mile to ensure that her guests' needs are completely and thoroughly met. Next time I come up to the Dutchess County area, Hilltop House will be my # 1 choice to stay. The rooms are spacious, very neat, nicely furnished with firm comfortable beds and the bathrooms are inviting and totally useful in every way. I have ZERO criticisms of Sandy and Hilltop House; everything about my stay was FIRST RATE, to include lovely and delicious breakfasts which left me wanting for absolutely nothing.   Sandy and Wess, the innkeepers, were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The inn is lovely with beautiful antiques and 2 fireplaces. Our room, The Washington Room, was lovely with a comfortable bed, private bath, and beautiful wallpaper. It was cozy and warm on 2 really cold nights. Our breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The care given to the ingredients was noted, with organic and fresh products that were great.
  
  We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the warm weather.

  Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hilltop House B&B in Amenia NY. Beautiful home overflowing with antiques, and gracious hosts. We spent the weekend eating at wonderful restaurants, taking an Alpaca trek and farm tour, and visiting the Orvis shop and shooting range. But the best part was the gluten free citrus pecan pancakes our host, Sandy, made for me because of my gluten allergy. They were the best pancakes I've ever tasted!!! Thank you Sandy!!
