She is open, caring, and straightforward; she’ll support your student by bringing out their best, authentic self as they navigate the college landscape. As a colleague in an adjacent space, I know that Hildie “gets” high school students and how excited and hesitant they are to make this first big decision about their futures. Understanding how overwhelming the process can feel, she has the skills and empathy to help students and parents move through their doubt, fear, excitement, and celebration.

Hildie reviewed and gave feedback on my essays while making sure i maintained my authentic self and ensuring my voice come through in my essays. Her enthusiasm always made me excited for my next steps in the process and she was always available when I had questions. I would recommend Hildie to students starting this process.

Hildie helped me get started early so that I never felt stressed out because of time and prevented a lot of the anxiety I could’ve experienced. She was always open to answering any and all questions and helping me every step of the way with important feedback. She helped me discover schools that were a great fit for me and create an application that highlighted my strengths and that I was genuinely proud of. I highly recommend working with her!

She was very invested in my success, and she was always one text, call, or email away. Hildie was extremely good at identifying standout points in my application and helping me write essays that showcased my personality.
