  I am a local that used to enjoy coming to this beautiful, small and quite place. BUT due to the savages from out-of-town overcrowding and leaving litter behind, Stroud Township decided in August 2022 to CLOSE THE PARK ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAY. An unfortunate action, but I support it!

  Love coming here to clear my mind and enjoy the calming flow of the stream. Great place to bring a dog if you have one. Very well maintained park, which is surprising considering it's in Stroud Township and they tend to be rather aloof.

  Nice family place to visit, very quiet. Usually only one other person there. It is a flat meadow beside fishing stream stocked in spring. Ideal for tubing or kayaking down McMichaels Stream. Pet friendly. Plenty of parking. There is a grill and picnic table but NO restrooms. Very easy to spot from road. It is close to intersection of Hickory Valley Rd and Hickory Lane, Stroudsburg
