  Great place to get in a hike.
  Can hike from the state park parking lot in Simsbury, or you can state you hike while walking 2 miles in at Hartford #6 res. Then that takes you to the top to visit Hueblin Tower.

  We hiked up to the tower and it was a beautiful trail. The trail was well maintained and not crowded. The staff at the tower was helpful. Loved the views

  I got up to the tower from Hazen Park trailhead and I made it into an entire Loop and also went out to King Phillip's cave.

  Visiting the Heublein Tower can be a physically demanding and challenging experience, but it can also be extremely rewarding. The views from the top of the tower can be breathtaking and provide a unique perspective on the surrounding landscape. It is important to be prepared for the hike and to take necessary precautions, such as wearing appropriate footwear and bringing plenty of water. It may also be helpful to pace yourself and take breaks as needed to prevent fatigue. Overall, visiting a tower with a long and inclined trail can be a memorable and rewarding experience for those who are physically able and prepared for the challenge.

  There are some incredible views here. Particularly around the start of autumn, it's particularly pretty with all the colors fron the foliage. One clear days you can see whole cities in the distance. It's a fairly challenging walking trail to get there, but it's well worth it. If you intend to enter the tower, it would be wise to check in advance if it's open. I think it's still "only the weekend" for now, but even without getting the birds eye view, there still plenty to be seen in the surrounding area!
