Heritage Reformed Church is an amazing example of this in the preaching of Pastor Serafini and in how the people live and treat each other. As newcomers, we have felt so welcomed.

Belief in the truth of the Bible is very evident in the way the church members live their lives. Highly recommended!

(June 1, 2016, 9:26 am)In today's increasingly secular environment, it's very rare to find a church that faithfully holds to exclusive psalmody. In other words, a REAL Reformed church that seeks to worship our Triune Jehovah with reverence and respect, and in strict observance of God's regulative principle -- meaning, that which is not commanded in worship is forbidden. This biblical mandate Heritage executes very well.
Heritage is a confessional church, with the Protestant Heidelberg Catechism as foundational to their teaching and worship. Therefore, you can rest assured their doctrines are in strict conformity with God's pure Word, the Bible. Moreover, you will find its membership to be both highly intelligent and very hospitable.
The preaching of the gospel and the wide dissemination of Reformed theology are reprobate America's last and only hope, and this is one of those rare churches where you will be able to discover, and tap into, the knowledge of God's Word as seen through the lens of Reformed theology (i.e. Calvinism. It was the great Charles Spurgeon who said, "Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else."). If you are looking for a new church, Heritage is the gold standard by which you may accurately judge all other Protestant churches in the N.Y. metro area. For that reason alone, it'll be worth your while visiting some Lord's Day morning. Highly recommended for all seekers of absolute truth, as well as for those who wish to worship God according to His strict commandments. -

(June 19, 2015, 5:33 pm)In my summation - a good church is a mix of good Biblical preaching and warm hospitality. The preaching at this church is Biblically sound, deep and practical (a very rare thing in today's world). The people of the church are warm and have proven themselves again and again - by extended themselves, to me and my family. I was looked for a good church/congregation to join for a number of years and was delighted to find this rare gem of a church - in Northern NJ!
