Hello Wings

Here is the unnecessarily in-depth and impassioned wing review you never wanted but never knew you needed. I recently moved to Bucks County from DC. Before that I lived in North Carolina and San Francisco. I’ve been many other cities. All told, I’ve eaten chicken wings at conservatively 500 restaurants across three continents. I am the Wing King.

After moving to Bucks, I set off to find my local wing joint. It is no exaggeration to say that I tried at least 12 places purported to have the “best wings” in the area. All were mostly horrible. The wings in and around Doylestown are mostly over-breaded, soggy, warmed-over inedible slop. Laziness has clearly soaked into the incumbents who are only too happy to suck money from overpaid consumers with no taste buds.

I was repeatedly disappointed.

Enter, Hello Wings. This place, with its parsimonious approach to branding (a lone, adorable chicken mascot suffices), reminded me of my favorite wing place in San Francisco. When served, I enjoyed a revelation. The wings were fresh and delicious — not the nasty, over-steroided birds I had been subjected to repeatedly at other establishments. They were crispy and sufficiently sauced - NOT soggy. In short, they were extraordinary.

The people who work here are also lovely and friendly.

Korean style chicken flavors are tasty. They are new owned & developed new sauces by themselves. I'd like to recommend the chicken tenders with Korean style to this area neighbors.

Unbelievably good wings!!! Recently, Hello Wings helped to cater our daughter’s wedding shower and I can’t tell you how many people approached me asking where them came from. Not only is there a large unique selection of sauces, but the folks that work there are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! A+++

Food was delicious and clearly made with care. The sauce was absolutely lathered on yet the crunchiness of the breading was unaffected. Everything was made fresh and hot! The staff were attentive and just delightful to talk to! Atmosphere was cozy and fit the feel of a wingshop.

The wings are amazing and there are so many sauces to choose from. The staff was friendly and provided great service. Would definitely recommend!
