  I found Heather's business via a google search for custom tailoring in the Nassau county area. I had a rather unique request to make a jacket out of vintage t-shirts. Heather was responsive and open to my ideas. She scheduled a meeting with me to discuss the plan via phone and then we met in person. She is very nice, communicative and produces AMAZING work. The jacket came out so beautifully it was better than I could have ever imagined. She also hemmed a tweed skirt for me which came out wonderfully as well. Bonus- the items were finished earlier than scheduled! If you are looking for any custom tailoring I HIGHLY recommend you go to Heather she is incredibly talented. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

  I’ve had THE best experiences with Heather. First she made a custom dress for me to wear to a very special wedding in Jackson Hole WY. The quality of her work is impeccable and the style and fit was just gorgeous. Heather recently altered a Chanel gown for me for a black tie event and it was perfect. She has an incredible aesthetic, design sensibility, and is a couture level seamstress. She is highly professional and a wonderful person. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

  Heather was so kind and patient from the beginning the end of the process of designing and making a dress.
  She helped me to pick out fabric and worked with me to make my design ideas a reality. Her vast knowledge of pattern making made the whole process seamless. After a few initial fittings she only needed to make some small changes in order for the dress to fit me perfectly!! Her attention to every detail is impeccable.
  
  I am so excited to wear this dress for my family’s upcoming celebration.

  I had a dress that I loved, but no longer fitted. It was a dream to recreate this dress with a brocade fabric. As a novice seamstress, I tried to do this on my own unsuccessfully. Heather was able to reproduce the A shaped dress which was constructed with a yoke waist beautifully in brocade. She was so easy to work with and listened to my wishes while giving constructive inputs. Such a pleasure to work with!
