Dr Harris has been my psychiatrist for so long that I can't even remember how many years it has been (could it be 20??). I originally came to her for help with anxiety and she worked with me to become comfortable with taking medication in addition to weekly ( and sometimes twice a week) talk therapy. Over the years, we have worked together on my eating disorder, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, work stress and so much more. She has helped me to improve my relationship with my parents and has worked with me and my husband to have productive communication rather then get stuck in the "he said, she said" cycle. She is the only person I would take my mother to when she was suffering from debilitating anxiety. She worked with her to find the right medication and stabilized her quickly. She is brilliant at providing referrals when needed. She is compassionate and validating but does not enable you. She helps you face the hard things you need to address to make change. She is an intelligent and insightful clinician, excellent at assessment and diagnosis, and medication management. A 5 star review is not high enough for this wonderful woman.
