  Fred helped me to build up my grip size, and tell me what I should do with patience. This is a really good place to shop for tennis.

  Great Service and a Lot of Products Offered
  Fred and Rich have a lot of tennis knowledge and have successfully recommended racquets and strings for me. My issue was pain in the elbow, which I haven't had since the last change, but I have heard them giving recommendations for different playing styles too. I have been getting all my racquets, strings, tennis balls and grips from there and have never been disappointed.
  I see they have offerings for other racquet sports (i.e. pickleball) and their offering of bags, clothes and shoes is very diverse.

  Hapwards helped me purchase my first non generic racket almost 12 years ago. Rich was nothing but cordial and extremely knowledgeable of the most recent tennis trends and technology. He gave me a great deal on 2 rackets and even helped me out a bit earlier than his posted opening time. I look forward to continue doing business with them in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend them to those lookong for a broader selection than a corporate sporting store and better service.

  Drove over an hour to get here. Was it worth the drive? 100% Yes! Family owned and operated. Four generations! Both Rich and Fred took their time to explain all the questions I had. Gave me their recommendations and really both were so pleasant to talk to. This store has a large selection of racquets, balls, and tennis accessories. Give them a try. You won’t be sorry.
