Short trails, breathtaking views, and a unique area to visit
Wonderful protected space for a walk, with or without a four-legged companion. (If you're solo, expect the majority of visitors to be walking their dog(s)). It's essentially 2 large rectangles that provide several trails and good walking space. Only 4 stars for me because the space is very open with only a few trees. This means it's very warm on warm days and similar with wind. On a cool spring or fall day, it's spectacular! Also good birdwatching.
This park is incredibly well maintained and is extremely clean. It is actually a lot bigger than I originally anticipate and is moderately difficult for anyone who may have injuries. Also you have to be careful of the past weather conditions because it is mostly swamp land and some of the trails can still be very wet after rainy weather.
Great place to get a good walk in without spending money or overdoing it. Dogs allowed and the landscape is stunning!
We love to go and walk around Happy Landings. Is muddy but we have boots to just walk over. It is a peaceful open area. Sadly as always some dog owners do not pick after their dogs, regardless the place is beautiful
