This Hannaford today (7/12/23) was much better than previous visits this year. The store was neat and mostly well stocked. Produce was fresh with a wide variety. Meats and seafood both looked fresh with a large selection. The bakery dept looked excellent, with a huge variety of baked goods, cakes, cookies, and other desserts. I’ve bought the muffins and donuts from here and they’ve been excellent! The deli was well stocked. Prepared foods looked fresh with a wide variety. This Hannaford has a stir fry bar, although I haven’t tried it. I have bought the chicken tenders (both original and spicy) as well as various items from the wing bar, and they’ve always been fresh and tasty. The chicken sandwiches are excellent too! The store was overall nice and clean. Floors were clean and well kept, the entrance was clean, and bathrooms were clean. The only major issue and dirty section are the dairy and meat shelves. The dairy shelves are still filthy and very messy in numerous areas, especially on the bottom shelf were there are multiple spilled and smashed eggs. Center meat case is dirty on the bottom shelf. This hasn’t been fixed and has been going on for a long time. Also check expiration dates as I have found a few expired items. Overall, this experience was definitely one of the better experiences I’ve had at this Hannaford. This one has been very hit or miss in the past, I’ve had some good and some really bad experiences. I strongly recommend to come anytime on a Tues, Wed, Thurs, or Fri. Or come on Sat morning or Sun morning if you can. That’s when the store is clean and well stocked. Avoid Sat evenings, Sun afternoon/evenings, and Mon as the store is often low stock and messy on those days. Overall I was very pleased with today’s visit to the Wappingers Falls store, although it’s been hit or miss in the past. -

(March 10, 2023, 1:26 pm)I love Hannaford! The layout is good. I do wish that they might have an area for "quick picks" like coffee, milk, etc. To avoid having to range across the store for a quick stop. But no complaints.

(February 20, 2023, 11:31 am)A nice, clean, and organized grocery store that has a pharmacy as well. They have a little better selection of some items than most grocery stores like their produce, but lack a vast selection of other items like coffee creamer.
They have regular checkout lanes and also several self-checkout lanes as well with paper bags, or reusable bags.
