I love this place. It's quiet and peaceful. The front desk lady is friendly. I took my son for an assessment for the helmet. After the measurement, the doctor told me that my son won't need the helmet treatment. He is just honest and didn't try to hard sell anything to me. I like this place more than Cranial Technology.
Kids. Am I right? Ugh. My son needed a brace. He wasn't happy about it and to be honest, neither was I. But here we are.
The staff here is great. They took the time to explain to my son what the brace would do and how it would work. I think they took the fear and uncertainty out of the whole experience for him. Once he was comfortable they measured him.
We came back a week or two later to try on the unit and adjust the fit. They were all so nice and reassuring making sure he and I understood what he was supposed to do.
A month or so later we went back for fine adjustment. Again, super nice and patient.
I don't have much experience with prosthetics. However, the staff here does. They know their stuff and are very patient and good at explaining the process involved.
I highly recommend Hanger Clinic. I went to the Farmingdale & Forked River offices. Both Orthotists were very professional, knowledgeable & very nice. I love my brace! I walk so much better now.
At Hanger Prosethics in Farmingdale , Michayla was an exceptional Orthotist. She never rushed me & kept asking me if my brace was too tight & kept making adjustments, even after her day work session was done. I highly recommend this office!
