  I’ve been a regular customer of HairByEddie for almost 10 years now. When I started going to Ed, he was based out of New Milford, NJ. This was extremely convenient for me at the time, as I lived a few blocks away from that shop.
  
  Then, Ed expanded opened his shop in Totowa, NJ, and EgoTrip was born.
  
  My 6 minute trip to the barber turned into a 30 minute trip, however I was unfazed by this. I never thought twice about it, because you simply don’t come across professionals like Ed these days. It’s so rare that I was always willing to take that drive.
  
  Funny enough, shortly after he moved to the new shop in Totowa, my wife and I moved to Wayne, NJ which is just 7 minutes away from the shop. Talk about convenient coincidence!
  
  Ed has mastered his craft and is one of the few who truly cares about his customers. I’ve personally witnessed his dedication to customer service for nearly a decade and he never fails to impress me.
  
  Customers from age 3 to senior-aged customers and everyone in between - Ed offers the same consistent top-notch service to every customer who sits in his chair. And MAN does he have a way with children..
  
  I’ve never seen a barber successfully turn a screaming toddler who is completely hysterical to a totally content and excited toddler getting a haircut.

  This man really knows what he’s doing and even that is a gross understatement to the level of service HairByEddie provides. Unmatched customer service in every aspect.
  
  I was always happy to take the 30-minute drive to HairByEddie when he moved to Totowa. Why?

  These characteristics are rare and very hard to come by - *especially* in the industry of barbers and hair stylists. For this reason, there is no other person allowed to aim sheers or sharp objects at my head hair or beard unless that person is HairByEddie.
  
  I’ll conclude by noting that barbers are a dime a dozen. Everyone seems to be a barber these days. However, there’s a big difference between a barber and a GREAT barber.
  
  The great barbers are rare and hard to come by. HairByEddie happens to be one of those rare professionals who never fails to overdeliver.
  
  Booking appointments is as easy as 3 taps on your smartphone. Simply open GenBook, click ‘Book’, choose your time slot and your done. It’s so incredibly convenient.
  
  Reliability and punctuality is VERY rare to find in barbers, but not with HairByEddie. He is always on time or ahead of schedule, and is always extremely organized despite the massive book of business he manages and the number of regular customers he serves.
  
  The shop has a great atmosphere and is constantly being cleaned and sanitized. It’s never NOT sparkling clean at EgoTrip.
  
  The environment is welcoming and appealing to all age groups. EgoTrip is family-friendly and kid-friendly and the guys in the shop are always friendly and warm. Even if it’s your first time at EgoTrip, you’ll walk out feeling like you are part of the EgoTrip family.
  
  I will continue to be a loyal and regular customer of Eddie’s, and I’ll never stop referring friends, family, and clients to him whenever I can. I know without a doubt that whoever I refer to Ed will receive the best service the industry has to offer. There’s simply no one better.

  I have been getting my hair cut with Eddie for many years. He always does a great job helping me create the look that I am going for. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a high quality reliable barber.

  I’ve been coming here a couple times now and have never left disappointed. Place is top notch for a great haircut and affordable price! Eddie is awesome super personable and the first barber I’ve had that would actually recommend wats best for my hair and what haircut would look good on me. Also making appointments is super easy and most importantly the place is clean!! Def recommend giving this place a shot

  Eddie was the first barber I trusted with my beard and he always did a great job. I recently moved down the shore and got a beard trim from some hipster joint. It wasn't awful but they didn't give the Eddie Bastidas treatment, that atention to detail and patience to get it perfect. I realize now how incredible it is to have a barber of his caliber. I'll probably be taking the hour and a half trip next time I need to clean up my beard.

  Have been going to this place for years. Clean establishment. Friendly barbers. All the barbers are great, but Shaun, in particular is who cuts my hair. He's efficient. Doesn't take breaks while cutting. And he strives to be a perfectionist. The only place i go to for a haircut.
