  Nice teacher and a wonderful person! He is teaching my daughter since the last 4 months now. He keeps these lessons interesting for my daughter and she likes them and is learning Guitar very well.

  I wanted to play guitar seriously again after a years-long gap. Pete listened to me about my goals and where I wanted to be as a guitarist. He is patient and respectful, but gives you helpful insights and a nudge when needed.
  One extra note: if you put in the time and practice, it all becomes worth it.

  Having worked with Peter for years as a keyboardist, I decided to take guitar lessons six months ago. Peter first asks what you want to play and accomplish rather than having you labor over things that don't move you towards something you'll enjoy. He has an open and friendly teaching attitude backed up by strong knowledge of music fundamentals through advanced technical areas. You proceed at your own pace, playing what you want- be it a beginner's tune for a newcomer or a Jimmy Page solo for a shredder. I highly recommend Peter to all parents who are contemplating lessons for their kids or more experienced players looking to hone their skills and "ears".

  I am 39 years old and I currently play guitar, tenor banjo and accordion in a band. I had played guitar in high school and kept up playing for fun over the years. I realized that I had some missing parts in my technique and my understanding of how music is put together. I took lessons from Pete a number of years ago and it was exactly what I needed to "fill in the holes" in my playing and understanding. First off, he was fun to work with. He relates to people very well. I had a different guitar instructor years prior who seemed to be there exclusively to get paid. Pete was quite the opposite. As I was interested in playing in different styles, some weeks we would get into the nuances of whatever style I had asked about as well as the core lesson. I've been able to take this knowledge and apply it to other instruments (tenor banjo, accordion) with great success. Pete is one of the two people who have given me the knowledge with which to pursue playing music in a band and in the way that I have always wanted (and I've looked everywhere). Thanks Pete.

  I am a 47 year old man that picked up guitar with no musical experience at the age of 45. I have been going to lessons weekly with Pete for almost two years. I look forward to the lessons and I like them not only because I am progressing and seeing improvement but also because I think Pete is a great guy and I enjoy the discussion and back and forth banter that rounds out the lesson. Pete is following a course of instruction with me that uses Hal Leonard's books so you are building skills in a reasonable and complete way. Pete is clearly a talented guitarist and can pick up and help you with about any song you bring in or mention in class to supplement the book practice and to keep guitar interesting. Finally, when I was taking lessons at a local music store before I started with Pete, the instructor and I were shoved into what felt like a small hot closet for the lesson. I like going to Pete's house much better because his practice room is large and comfortable and he actually manages the climate to be comfortable for the student.
