  Always thorough and will never cut corners just to finish a project on time. Tells you like it is which is what I want from the person keeping my gear up to snuff.

  Erik made everything so easy! It’s been very tough to find someone who both respects your guitars they way you do but also makes every skill level feel comfortable. If you have a guitar that needs some love, bring it here. I’ve brought in 3 guitars the past few weeks and they are playing better in ways I didn’t realize what I was missing.

  Had a great experience working with Erik on the recent pickup replacement and setup of my Jazz Bass. I appreciated the online booking of the drop-off and pickup time for my instrument. Erik took note of all my concerns and questions and answered them sincerely and professionally. The shop was clean and organized and the price list was reasonable considering the personal attention provided. The work was done flawlessly and I'm extremely happy with the way my instrument is playing. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend Guitar Repair Long Island for the services they offer.

  Very Impressed with Eriks work on my fender Strat. I had brought in a MIM Strat that needed some love since it left the factory with extremely poor QC and Erik had done fret level, new nut, saddle upgrades, fixed the machine heads and did a setup and I was blown away how good the guitar actually feels now. It went from a unplayable guitar with no sustain to a guitar that feels great, plays like butter and has sustain for days. The fret-level and dressing was superb and the guitar says intonated up the whole neck. It feels like a proper fender should and finally stays in tune even with heavy trem use, and the tone has improved drastically after these nut and saddle upgrades, it's really amazing. I look forward to working with Erik in the future on other guitars and basses, the whole process was very professional, and he is a level up from others in the new york area
