  Very nice park that is well maintained. I haven't experienced the entire park, but the walking paths are paved. Playground is not near the road or parking area, so a short walk is needed in order to get there. Playground was clean and fully fenced around with one gate. It is directly across from the restroom facilities (open limited hours). Porta potties are available when facilities are closed. I didn't see a parking lot, but street parking is available in designated areas. Speed limit on the road is low, but does pose a concern whne loading children in & out of vehicles. No sidewalk along the road side of the park, so you have to walk in the road or in the grassy area before getting to a paved path within the park. Overall a very nice park and I would return there again.

  We threw our daughter's birthday party there with about 50 guests and it was pretty fun. Everyone had a good time!

  Nice park with short walking trails. The pond is great with birds, fish and turtles. The playground is nice and bathrooms are well maintained.

  Beautifully designed park by the same men who designed Central Park (as well as the other 20 parks in Essex County). My family and I regularly enjoy walks through here. The Katsura trees are our favorite due to their form and the smell of cotton candy they release when their leaves are wet. We also enjoy watching the water birds on the pond.
  
  Now, there are frogs in the pond due to the water plants. It's a great feeling to hear them.

  We enjoyed this park on a super hot day this summer. Social distancing was very easy. The trails are large, paved, and have ample benches to rest. There are also several garbage cans available (something I have not seen much during COVID times).
  
  We spent a significant amount of time at the playground. There is a large playground area with rubber matting. The sections are pretty well divided for different age groups allowing kids to play more safely. Despite the amount of large trees, shade is sparse in the afternoon except for the area for ages 2-5. There are a lot of shaded benches in this area also.
  
  If your child is intending to swing or use one of the other playground areas (especially the littler ones) I'd recommend bringing a blanket or something small to put in the swing for your child to sit on if it's a hotter day.
  
  There are a lot of squirrels who are not really intimidated by people. Several got within 5 feet of us but they did not really bother anything. Just something to be aware of.
  
  There is also a restroom next to the playground as well as a drinking fountain (with a bottle filler), both were open and operational the day we went.
  
  Almost everyone we encountered was either wearing a mask or keeping a conservative distance. It was a very nice and safe day out.
