The courteous staff is committed to providing excellent service, and the premises are always spotless. The food is not only scrumptious, but it is also presented beautifully. One menu item, in particular, stands out- the Elvis- a delectable breakfast dish consisting of French toast, bacon, peanut butter, and banana- is simply divine. They have an impressive selection of distinct meals, so I recommend scanning the menu before visiting. Although there may be a brief wait for a table, particularly on Sunday mornings, don't be deterred, it is well worth it. Additionally, the restaurant's impeccable level of cleanliness warrants a five-star rating. If you happen to be in the vicinity, I highly recommend stopping by Grits & Grace Cafe for a delightful dining experience.

Their message, which is to say, the origin of their name is displayed on 2 wall hangings which define the words- grit and grace, placed next to an antique hand mixer and a sign that says "All because two people fell in love". The decor is neat and colorful, with retro metal chairs and antiqued table tops.
But let us get to the food! The chunky, corned beef hash (homemade) is the best I have eaten in a long, long time! The same goes for biscuits (also homemade) and sausage gravy. The cheese grits were so creamy and smooth they slid right down the hatch. Even the chocolate milk was noteworthy- generous, syrupy squirts running down the insides of the glass, just like we made it when we were kids. "Comfort food and a family place" says the sign over the door. They mean it! I will be back for some chicken and waffles next time, so should you. This is a local business and gathering place worth supporting!
Update 4/24/23- while it may not help lower my golf handicap (or, for that matter, my cholesterol), the Bobby Jones breakfast may be my favorite breakfast meal of all-time!
