(October 14, 2022, 11:33 am)In 2018 we found Will Calhoun through Houzz. We had just purchased a house in CT after living for 21 years in NH and it needed more work than we could do ourselves. We hoped to remove some walls, enlarge doorways, shift around bathroom fixtures, adjust stairways, remove closets, and open up closed dormer areas. As in many renovations, additional projects were found along the way. Green View Building + Design Co. did a fabulous job and Will persevered until everything was completed and completed well. Everyone who visits praises our house and we love everything about it now. designs and implementation. She knows balance, color and structure and can see into the future ,in the big picture .
Our gardens are more beautiful each season and she has planted
with the most native species which require little upkeep.

(August 3, 2020, 10:22 am)Alexa designed a perennial flower bed for us and we love it. She listens well, has great suggestions and is easy to work with. She keeps her word and is a good communicator. She knows a great deal about native plants- our garden is not only beautiful but is full of butterflies and other pollinators. We highly recommend her!

(July 16, 2020, 10:09 am)Several years ago, Alexa created an exquisite garden on our land. It warps around the steps as you descend toward our lakefront home. The flowers lush and vibrant, create a stunning array of textures and colors reflecting her strong design background. In addition her horticulture knowledge ensures that the perennials remain healthy and come back every year. She knows her plants and what will thrive and where. Every week a new configuration emerges of blooming beauties so that there is always color everywhere. She is not only a gifted landscaper, but also a good listener who understands her clients preferences and works collaboratively. We give her "five stars" and then some.

(July 15, 2020, 12:41 pm)A good landscape designer needs multiple talents and skills: an intuitive design sense, technical expertise, a familiarity with historical precedents, an encyclopedic knowledge of both horticulture and hardscape, detail-oriented project management to get the job done, and a commitment to follow-up and maintenance after installation. Alexa Venturini has all of these. In addition, she’s a joy for an architect to work with because she’s very collaborative and understands the back and forth of a successful design process. She created an elegant garden for the entry courtyard of a house I designed in Sharon. It looked beautiful the day she finished, and it’s only gotten better over time.
