  My dear sister had need of care from Grace. The Nurses who came have provided her with the best possible care and compassion, and they've provided us with comfort and some understanding. While all passings are sad, Grace has given my sister and us a "good" passing. She was comfortable and pain free. We were accepting of this outcome. The Nurse on call came at a late hour for the final moment. Peaceful all the way around.

  My husband collapsed and started seizing an hour before his intake for hospice was scheduled. I had a dnh and a dnr and didn't know who else to call other than the nurse that was coming for his intake. These nurses came in like the calvary. They were able to help me get him stabilized and comfortable for the final stretch of his journey, and I was incredibly thankful for that. My only complaint is that I told them several times I was not physically able to care for him alone and asked repeatedly if they had nurses available for around the clock. They just kept telling me it was really expensive AND LEFT US. I had $50,000 in the bank for precisely that purpose and was left alone anyway. Thankfully a friend had a connection with a different company and they were able to get me a nurse to stay with him and tend to his needs so that I could focus on other equally important things. The week prior I had just had a boot removed from a broken foot and had injured the knee on the other leg trying to care for a 6 foot tall, 200 lb cancer patient on my own with no assistance and a broken foot. I couldn't believe they left me like that with the plans of stopping in every few days to check in on him. That's not the nurses fault however, and they went above and beyond. Will always remember them.

  Recently, my mother was in need of hospice services. Having used Grace Healthcare to care for my Dad in his final months, I knew to turn to Grace once again. Christine, the nurse was just amazing. She made sure my Mom was comfortable and well taken care of. Communication with the Assisted Living staff was superb. Christine was an advocate so needed during Mom's final days. Christine stayed with Mom for hours during her final day and was present when Mom passed, making sure she was comfortable at all times and was there during any moments of distress. I can't thank Grace enough for caring for both of my parents.

  My experience with Grace Hospice was short, but I can tell you that in the time we had their hospice services I found them to be Kind, skilled, caring and compassionate. They quickly took care of all of my aunts needs. She was taken care of an excellent manner and received quality of care at the end of her life. Our case Manager Faith made absolutely sure that my aunts needs we’re taken care of. I hope I never have to use a hospice service again, but if I do, Grace hospice will be the only one company that I call.
