  If you enjoy small group family discipleship communities that get together on Sunday mornings for worship & preaching of new testament message then you should feel very comfortable at GCC. There are many generations & ethnicities that regularly attend. In past decade this small congregation has raised up dozen new pastors, actively maintained missions near & far, planted three local churches, & helped start new fellowship of churches.

  I Go to Church here located on Ashton Rd. It is a blessing each Sunday to see the faces that have been there for long and also new faces that want to join. It's an amazing two hours of your life. Sermon starts at 10 A.M. Come by. Anyone is always accepted into the Body of Church. Always Welcome. You need anything. Comment. I'll help you with any info you may need. God Bless You.

  Amazing church that loves Jesus, the scriptures, and the gospel and has a passion for reaching and serving the city of Philadelphia. I and my family were members for 8+ years until we moved out of state. For those who want details, the leadership is made up of a group of elders/pastors who are fantastic and godly with a teaching pastor who does most of the preaching. The preaching is biblical and expositional, going through books and sometimes topics. The church in its doctrine is gospel-centered, baptist, reformed, and continuationist (slightly/biblically charismatic). While they are committed in their beliefs I never felt that the church was heavy-handed and many people were comfortable attending who had some variations in their personal beliefs. The church is very welcoming and healthy and there are music, children's, youth, VBS, and college ministries as well as small groups and bible studies to benefit from. There are also opportunities to serve as well as receive leadership training and mentorship. There are a few other churches/church plants in Philadelphia associated with this church and it is a part of the Sovereign Grace church network. I would have been happy to stay and serve in this church for the rest of my life if we hadn't been called elsewhere.

  Pastoral staff is accessible and knowledgeable and caring. Worship music is a plus. Congregants are welcoming and not judgey. Very comfortable, family atmosphere. Most importantly SOUND DOCTRINE and teaching directly from the Bible and applied to current events in our everyday lives.
