(July 27, 2023, 10:04 pm)I suffered birth trauma and had a pretty bad initial experience with a different therapist group in NJ. I then found Dr Pearce at Grace Behavioral and although I waited on a waitlist, the wait was absolutely worth it. Dr Pearce is very calm, patient, a great listener, and is steady and consistent. She did not use EMDR on me, as that seemed to be ineffective with my previous therapist, but delved deep into my trauma and helped me to firstly identify the root causes of my trauma, which I think was the most important part, and then we worked to resolve those.
Overall, I could not recommend Dr Pearce more for anyone who has gone through birth trauma, any post partum trauma, anxiety, or depression (and many more). She is incredibly kind and competent.
