  I have been remiss in not posting this years ago. I have seen many glaucoma Dr's in 20+yrs of DX, but did not feel confident in the future of my vision and the exemplary care I would receive until I found Dr. Lama. He is a consummate professional, his staff is incredible! I travel more than an hour to see him, and would travel longer if necessary. I will never entrust my vision/glaucoma care to anyone else. The office is an example of what a caring/competent medical office should be.

  Dr Huang undertook a novel but complex glaucoma minimally invasive surgery under pressure (one of the medical devices lost some functionality) and did a perfect job. Very pleased with the way she described options and worked out my recovery plan.

  Dr.Hung is an absolute professional.I’m grateful to her with all my heart.My pressure was up to 35 and if it wasn’t for her I would have loss my sight.
  She operated on me on January 3rd and I was just given a free and clear . She is warm, kind understanding and I switched over the moment I met her. I highly recommend Dr. Hung, She has acproven record.

  It’s hard to express in words how wonderful Dr. Lama really is. He has taken terrific care of my family and me for many years. I don’t know about other reviews, but I surely know in my heart that Dr. Lama’s excellent care, compassion, and true concern for his patients, coupled with his meticulous expertise in his field is comparable to no one else. I thank God every day that I can see. There is no doubt in my mind that because of Dr. Lama, I can still see the faces of my four beautiful grandchildren, and so much more that we sometimes take for granted. Over the years, while waiting in his office, I’ve spoken to many people whose doctors have sent them to Dr. Lama because of some other doctor’s botched job or because the case was too complicated to handle themselves. I tell each person I talk to that they have come to the right place and they are fortunate to be treated by whom I call “my gift from above.”
  As for Dr. Lama’s staff and office manager, they are hard-working, very capable, concerned, and friendly. They have always gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable
  I highly recommend, without hesitation, the Glaucoma Institute of Northern New Jersey!

  I’ve been going to Dr. Lama’s office on and off for the last 9 years. He’s thorough, meticulous, and is always a pleasure to chat with. I truly believe he’s brilliant at what he does.
  
  When I first started seeing him, wait time was on average a couple of hours if not more. It’s gotten exponentially better over the years.
  
  Some of the staff can be a little cold, but some are super sweet and a pleasure to see. That’s just human nature. I really wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else.
