  Tara is the most compassionate person. I always feel so relaxed before and after treatments. She listens to her patients; I couldn’t ask for better care.

  I will start by saying I have been a client of Tara's for 8 years. There had been other acupuncturists prior to Tara. Of all, Tara is the best! She truly listens to what is said. Especially for me, she deciphers what is needed to keep my body balanced and functioning. My needs change from arthritic pains, lower back pain, heartburn (resolved), hot flashes (vastly decreased), and stress related issues. I have stayed with Tara 8 years because she is professional, courteous, and tells it like it is. Honesty in any relationship is important. She is the face of her business and her ethics are impeccable. She is a solo act. Appointments - her time and yours matter. She runs a tight ship, and rightly so. Whether a doctor or other healthcare professional relationship, getting past the front door (meaning the seemingly never ending too many minutes of paperwork and details - personal history, HIPAA, who is responsible for payment, insurance info, if you cancel/reschedule, etc. - that have become a part of New Patient) is a bit stressful. What counts here is what you receive as a result of Tara's work. The first thing is a relaxed atmosphere as you step into the office. That sets up what you will receive for your visit. The outcome is worth every bit of time spent getting there in the first place. Thank you, Tara, I appreciate you!

  I had neck and shoulder pain after an accident a few years ago. I had physical therapy and even went to a chiropractor with no relief. My first visit with Tara fixed the problem. She explained everything that she was doing. Tara is a very experienced acupuncturist. I felt so comfortable doing this for my first time. Her rooms are also set up very nicely for comfort and soothing. I highly recommend GenWell Acupuncture!

  I have been a regular client of Tara for a while now. I always feel much better after a session with her. She is a keen listener and is very in tuned to my changing needs for each appointment. I have always felt
  very comfortable and well cared for under her care. Tara really takes the time to make sure she is giving the best treatment possible and her genuine care about my well being is always apparent.
  I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

  Recently, I've been receiving acupuncture from Tara Almquist. She is remarkable. At the end of each session you almost forget what ailment you were seeking relief from. I highly recommend seeking treatment from Tara in order to avoid any unnecessary surgical procedures.
