For many years they have been my dry cleaner, and I am quite satisfied with them and would recommend them.
Lately I have used them for tailoring and alterations as I am looking to buy less and repair more.
Recently they worked magic by patching up a shirt I mistakenly burned a hole in so that I can keep wearing it and not have to purchase a new one.
Additionally, they transformed a cotton scarf I purchased, taking my direction to shorten and layer it, into a shortened reversible scarf which is doubly functional. I love how they took my direction, their own creative initiative, and produced a result that truly delights me. I will be looking around for more alternations to take them. :-)
I brought in a dress that was too small for me and they did an amazing job letting it out! Took some fabric off the hem and made inserts in the sides and now it fits perfectly! Was done in a few days and I can wear my favorite dress again!
Very friendly and accommodating. After being turned away by several dry cleaners on the avenue, Gateway Cleaners didn't hesitate to help me. It was past the same day cleaning cutoff time and I had two suits I needed cleaned and back for a funeral the next morning. They took care of everything during a very stressful time. Can't thank them enough!
