  We took our almost 11-year-old shih Tzu, Max to Garden State, I can't remember the doctor's name that we saw but he was very knowledgeable and courteous. Unfortunately our boy Max has an inoperable liver tumor and they couldn't do anything for him. 😢

  We took our puppy twice for post op care after he had developed complications from his neutering. The care and compassion he received was excellent. We couldn't have asked for better doctors and staff to bring our baby back to good health. The entire staff is so caring, friendly and attentive to our baby's needs and our concerns. We highly recommend Garden State. They are about out of the way from us but totally worth the drive.

  We were referred here by our vet due to ongoing neck and back pain. The neurologist dr. Woelfel was great. He answered all of our questions and did not push for surgery. He gave us alternative options to try. My only complaint was the receptionist at check in. I stood there for a few mins before being asked to step aside by another tech to allow an emergency through. When we moved I saw the receptionist was on her phone. I just wasn't happy weren't acknowledged even with a 1 moment please. We were charged exactly what we were quoted over the phone. The check out receptionist was great. I had asked if they could email my dogs note to me for records and it showed up in my email same day.

  I had my cat here back in 2020 when he was hospitalized for not eating and lethargy, and he actually started having seizures while he was admitted overnight. The drs were prompt, they did an MRI and spinal tap, and talked me through everything every step of the way. My boy recovered wonderfully from the initial illness, after a lengthy round of medication. We unfortunately had to go back a month ago after finding a lesion on his lung at his referring veterinarian. We initially saw Dr Scavelli, who ordered a CT scan, and then recommended surgery. Dr Fulcher removed the mass from my cats lung, which was an invasive and serious surgery. I am so grateful for his and the nurses expertise and knowledge. Him and the other doctors kept me updated constantly, phone calls every morning, and truly eased any worry and anxiety I had about the surgery(which I had alot of!) and assured me every day that my boy was doing great while he was there. Today he is pretty much recovered and all is well. I am truly so thankful for GSVS and the wonderful doctors and nurses there, and the whole support staff! If I need a specialist again in the future, I would bring my pets back here in a heartbeat.
