(October 24, 2022, 4:09 pm)After I broke my hand, Dr. Putnam did a half hour of acupucture. It reduced the swelling in my broken hand. And cut my pain in half. Without having to remove the splint or touch the injured area.
The acupuncture itself did not hurt. I arrived in acute pain and very vulnerable, and she helped me to feel comfortable with the whole process by explaining everything.
The acupuncture went well. But if it had hurt, I could trust her to stop doing it. The fact that she is not pushy, and has good boundaries, helped tremendously. I plan to go back for more acupuncture after my hand surgery. -

Dr. Putnam is an expert in Chinese herbal medicine as well as acupuncture.
They have a gorgeous, newly renovated building, which is handicap accessible. And acupuncture, and massage therapy and Various modalities of Chinese medicine.. Highly recommend. -

She listens honestly and answers every question in the same caring manner. I always leave well-informed in addition to feeling better. She has an array of treatments, and I feel completely comfortable leaving my treatment to her discretion. Whether acupuncture needles, moxibustion, cupping, or body work, BJ knows what to do to heal a variety of health concerns from skin ailments through anxiety to fertility.
If you have always wondered about acupuncture but were nervous to try, go see BJ and I assure that there is nothing to be afraid of! -
