  We used to go eel fishing in this area many years ago and after a long hiatus we visited the area once more. But, you cant go fishing without tackle, so after a quick google map search we found Gabriel Tackle Co.
  
  Folks, the reviews speak for themselves - this place has an excellent stock of lures, tackle, bait, fishing equipment for sale.
  
  The man at the counter was polite and after some idle chitchat we discussed our goal of eel fishing - he knew his stuff as he advised on what bait works best, what season/time/temperature is best etc. Unfortunately we showed up during the worst time and caught nothing that day which proves the man was right and knew his stuff.
  
  Will I come back here? Hell yes.

  Excellent bait & tackle shop. Huge selection of lures, rods and reels for beginners to professional. Fresh and frozen baits. Store manager was very helpful, courteous and professional. He knew his stuff and helped me with suggestions. Even with others in the store he made sure to answer all my questions without rushing me. I will be back to Gabriel Tackle and Bait.

  I love this bait and tackle shop! I’ve been there a handful of times now and will continue to give them all my business. The whole staff is amazing, prices are great, they have a great selection of gear and lures, and always have bait. I was there yesterday to buy a surf rod I wanted and they let me bring my reel in to see if I liked how it felt, turned out I didn’t and they found me the perfect rod for it. I went straight out and used it and caught my personal best stripper. The rod was flawless and I love it. You can’t beat that type of service.

  This place despite it’s size is incredible. They carry both the very best, top of the line gear but also have a wide selection of quality reasonably priced gear. They cater to everyone from the seasoned experienced fisherman to those who are just starting out. They give excellent advice and assistance. If you are new to fishing/ crabbing - GO THERE. They take the time to provide you the right gear, the right bait at the right price and give you the right advice in words you can actually understand as well as answer your questions. For the experienced fisherman - look at the tackle, Rod and reel brands they carry - you don’t get that unless you are proven. Got to try those Canyon Reels if you haven’t already. They are incredible ! Same price here as on-line but you get to touch them, try them and put them with the right Rod right in the shop. Owners - Frank and his son - THE BEST !

  With now having gone to Gabrielle's on multiple occasions, I feel confident enough I can write this review and stand behind it. My first visit there the customer service was amazing, and I thought wow I must have caught them on a good day. But every time since then Frank and his crew have treated me with nothing but respect and appreciation for choosing to spend my money at their shop. Not only does Gabrielle's have a staff with years of knowledge and experience they also have walls full of tackle, ceiling's lined with rods, and freezers full of bait. Franks respect for the sport and his customers is like nothing i've seen before.
