Whether it's soft-serve, hard serve, the sorbet, or even an ice cream cake, you're guaranteed to have an amazing ice cream experience when you eat at frozen side. Plus it's much better than Carvel.

(May 19, 2023, 4:11 pm)Had a free day after moving our daughter out of her dorm to explore LI. Stumbled upon this unassuming, yet delightful place on our way to the vegan empanada shop a block away. It's a good thing we had a red light at the intersection to see their sign for Vegan Options. The owner was friendly and offered samples. Vegan daughter had the coffee and mango. I enjoyed the non-vegan coffee and banana. All were OMG good. Obviously house made daily with fresh ingredients. We are all ice cream fiends and declared that this is the best we've ever had. To get anything close to this where we live (So Cal) or Van Leeuwen's would have been $8 a scoop. Here we got 4 large yummy scoops for under $13. We visit NY 3-4 times a year and have decided that this is a definite stop every time. Thank you!!
