  The instruction here is great, the classes and instructors are extremely knowledgeable! Everyone here trains with a really good attitude as well. Very happy I found FJJ!!

  I highly recommend Freedom Jiu Jitsu. My 6 yo son and I both started back in January of 2023. I'm impressed as to how well the coaches work with the children. Honestly, I was a little nervous for my first class but certainly felt welcomed and part of the freedom family shortly there after.

  Highly recommend FJJ, especially for women. I started here in my 30s with no previous exposure to or experience with any type of martial art. My main goal was to learn and become comfortable with a practical form of self defense. I started by taking the women’s classes on Sundays (the owner offers these for free) and eventually added the Fundamentals class and others. It was intimidating to start and to take each new class, but the coaches and other members have been nothing but encouraging and supportive each step of the way. I feel significantly more prepared and capable to defend myself should the need arise, and it has all been through regular BJJ training. And while it is invaluable for self defense, my reasons for training have since expanded.
  
  The owner and coaches, especially Jeremy, Joe and Amanda, are who help make FJJ such a great gym to train at. They are supportive, patient, and genuinely kind. They want you to do well and to be comfortable, and they recognize that everyone’s reason for training is different. No matter where you are on your BJJ journey, you’re never made to feel less than or incapable. They tailor their instruction to their audience, from kids to complete beginners to advanced adults. Jeremy and his staff set the positive and professional tone for the rest of the gym to follow. You get to know the people you train with, and it becomes an incredible community if you are open to it. I’m so grateful that Freedom Jiu Jitsu was my first exposure to BJJ. Truly cannot recommend it more.

  Freedom started as a place to get a good workout/learn a new skill, but turned into a community I consider a second family. Jeremy is highly professional and all of the coaches are top-notch. This sport can be intimidating (especially as a woman), but this community surpassed my expectations in making me feel comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend.

  Extremely inviting instruction through a very warm and supportive culture. Coach Regis and Jeremy are great instructors; both dedicated in the fine art of teaching others. Everyone here is personable with a positive attitude, helping each student progress at their own pace and level of learning. I truly enjoy my time spent here each week.
