Alina has been so friendly that it was easy to feel comfortable with something my fiancé and I have never done before. We are really happy with our wedding dance lessons and plan on continuing this fun new adventure because of Alina and all of the helpful and kind instructors here!

Alina is amazing! My fiancé and I tried practicing an online dance routine at first for our upcoming wedding first dance but found we never actually executed on practicing on our own so we decided to try Fred Astaire in WC. Alina was fabulous, we were blown away at how much better we were at dancing together even after the first lesson. Alina was fabulous in teaching us both our steps while creating an atmosphere that allowed us to be open and vulnerable in learning a new skill. Lessons here are definitely worth it when you realize how much sexier you feel dancing with your partner, how much closer you become in your relationship, and how much you learn about each other. Great experience. We plan to come back for more lessons :)

From two people who have ZERO coordination, we couldn’t have found a better team to help us prepare for our first dance! We bought a Groupon to try out the studio with two sessions, and signed up for their 8-session package after the first. Daria worked 1:1 with us for 8 weeks to choreograph a beautiful first dance that incorporated our personalities, and helped us with our awkwardness enough to make something truly special! We were able to surprise our family and friends at our wedding in 2022, which had been postponed since 2020, so being able to surprise everyone made it even more important to us. Daria painstakingly helped us learn how to move our bodies to look cohesive, and remember the steps to the dance she created. We also loved the chance to dress up and try our dance in front of other wedding couples and fellow studio students at a “dress rehearsal”. We flopped a little during that and went too fast, but got our nerves out of the way for the big day. When it finally came, we practiced one more time upstairs between the ceremony and first dance, and pulled it off flawlessly!! Everyone was so surprised and truly enjoyed it, and we smiled through every moment! We have so many beautiful photos and videos of the dance that we will treasure forever. We are BEYOND grateful to Daria and the rest of the team at Fred Astaire Dance Studio, and cannot recommend them more to other couples looking to learn something special for their big day, something fun and romantic, or individuals looking to connect with other people who enjoy some fun!

Sergei was EXCELLENT! My fiancé and I were given lessons as a gift for wedding prep, with Sergei as our instructor. He was very professional and really made us confident learning how to dance. Would highly recommend!

John and I had such an amazing time with Daria learning how to dance for our wedding! She created a beautiful choreographed routine for our First Dance song! Both of us had no idea what we were doing, and she gave us confidence while having fun at the same time! Everyone absolutely loved our dance and could not stop talking about how well we did! We can not thank Daria enough for her patience and talent! We will definitely be back for another special occasion!
